Photobox Raised $13.9 Million for Online Photo Lab
July 20, 2007

Photobox raised $13.9 Million from HarbourVest Partners LLC, along with Index Ventures and Highland Capital Partners.

What does Photobox do?

Photobox has online photo albums, however their revenue is generated from their offline printing.

VCU says:

PhotoBox was launched in 2000, and was the first online photo sharing and printing service in the UK. The European market for online photo printing has seen double-digit growth rates in the past few years as a result of innovative new services and higher penetration of both digital cameras and broadband.

They sell various products, not just photo prints but photo-books, personalized calendars, posters, greeting cards, and much much more.

Take a look at Photobox.
