cFares Receives $4.5 Million for an Internet Travel Service
July 23, 2007

cFares received $4.5 Million from Claremont Creek Ventures and Garage Technology Ventures.

What does cFares do?

cFares is an internet travel service to find the best air fare deals for you regardless of source.

VCU says:

cFares states they will find you the best airfare regardless of who has the best fares. There are two levels of service, free and a $50 yearly fee.

The free level of service allows you to user their site to search the entire published fare market, find the best fare available, get routed to the merchant’s site and book it.

For a $50 yearly fee you can use their site to take advantage of potentially better fares that are below those available at other travel sites. cFares brings you these fares by tapping into new wholesale inventory and using proprietary dynamic pricing technology not available on other travel sites.

Their interface is interesting, however once you search for a flight and click through to purchase you must first join their site. I could also do without the google ads on the right hand column.

Take a look at cFares.
