hi5 Receives $20 Million for their Social Network
July 24, 2007

hi5 received $20 Million from Mohr Davidow Ventures.

What does hi5 do?

hi5 is a world wide social network.

VCU says:

hi5 is one of the largest social networks in the world, with over 60 million registered members. Members use hi5 to communicate with friends around the world, and to connect with the local and global communities that are important to them.

While many sites hide the fact that they have substantial international traffic, hi5 takes advantage of this fact and provides a localized experience for its members. The localized experience enables people to connect with others based on language or other personally relevant cultural and popular interests.

hi5 was founded in 2003, is privately held and profitable.

Take a look at hi5.
