Melodeo Raises $7.9 Million to Provide Multimedia to Your Mobile Phone

Melodeo raised $7.9 Million from Ignition Partners and Voyager Capital.

What does Melodeo do?

Melodeo brings consumers on-demand audio and video programs online and to their mobile phone.

VCU says:

Melodeo’s nuTsie service is a free online and mobile music service that allows anyone to listen to their iTunes music and playlists. You can listend in hi-fi quality on your PC or mobile device. You can even explore other users’ playlists and share music with friends.

Melodeo has agreements/partnerships with Sony BMG Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group. In China they will be providing customers the ability to download full-length songs from Universal, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group and EMI to their mobile phones.
