OwnerIQ Received $2 Million for a User Manual Advertising Network
October 30, 2007What does OwnerIQ do?

The OwnerIQ Network is a network of user manuals and other self-support information for a broad range of consumer products.

VCU says:

OwnerIQ operates a network of consumer self-support websites for common household product categories, in other words sites to find user manuals.

Their revenue is generated from targeting advertisements based on products that consumers already own as they are searching for manuals for those products.

They also believe it enables advertisers to influence consumers throughout a product’s ownership lifecycle.

This niche advertising target is an excellent idea based on the targeting and if their statement of queries is correct “Each day, consumers conduct more than two million online searches for self-support information on products ranging from consumer electronics to kitchen appliances.”
