Socialtext Received $9.5 Million for Enterprise Wiki’s
November 5, 2007

Socialtext previously received $3 Million, see our original story here.

Socialtext just received $9.5 Million from Draper Fisher Jurvetson, SAP and Omidiyar Network.

What does SocialText do?

Socialtext is a wiki for corporations, an Enterprise 2.0 solution.

VCU says:

Socialtext provides companies with wikis for inside the organization. One of the uses is as a collaborative tool to assist in knowledge sharing and collaboration.

As the platform is easy to use, even those without programming skills can still utilize the platform and easily add content.

From their site “Socialtext is social software that groups can actually use to make themselves and their organizations more productive, while building trust between participants.”

See their site: SocialText.
