GodTube Received $30 Million for a Spiritual Video Sharing Social Network

GodTube received $30 Million in funding from GLG Partners. GodTube had previously raised $2.5 million.

What does GodTube do?

GodTube is a social network centered around God and focused on video sharing.

VCU says:

GodTube is a unique social network in that it has a main focus, in this case God. The main feature is video sharing and it has communities features as well.

While the site can derive revenue from advertising it has subscription models to create recurring revenue. GodTube provides a service for churches to stream live video of their services for a fee. They claim a few hundred customers, churches.

According to their press release they also plan on offering a white label community with features similar to GodTube for churches to create their own social networks focused around their church.
